Peer Reviewer Process
The Journal of Inspira employs a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and credibility of the published articles. The process is designed to be fair, transparent, and efficient.
1. Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system. Submissions are checked for compliance with the journal's focus, scope, and formatting guidelines.
2. Initial Screening
The editorial team conducts an initial screening to assess the manuscript's relevance to the journal's aims, originality, and adherence to ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are rejected or returned for revision.
3. Plagiarism Check
All submissions undergo a plagiarism check using appropriate tools to ensure originality. Manuscripts with high similarity indexes are returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright.
4. Assignment to Reviewers
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The journal follows a double-blind review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure impartiality.
5. Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:
- Originality and significance of the research
- Clarity of objectives and methodology
- Validity and reliability of results
- Contribution to the field of education
- Quality of writing and organization
Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommend one of the following actions:
- Accept
- Accept with minor revisions
- Revise and resubmit (major revisions required)
- Reject
6. Decision by the Editorial Team
The editor considers the reviewers' feedback and makes a final decision. The decision and reviewers' comments are communicated to the authors.
7. Revision and Resubmission
If revisions are required, authors must address the reviewers' and editor's comments thoroughly and resubmit the revised manuscript. The editor may send the revised manuscript back to the reviewers for further evaluation.
8. Final Decision
After revisions are satisfactorily addressed, the editorial team makes the final decision regarding acceptance. Accepted manuscripts proceed to the production stage for publication.
9. Publication
The final version of the manuscript is formatted and published in the appropriate issue of the journal.
