Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Inspira upholds strict ethical standards and is committed to promoting originality and integrity in scholarly publishing. To ensure the authenticity of submitted manuscripts, the journal has implemented the following plagiarism policy:
1. Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Copying or closely imitating the language, ideas, or thoughts of another author without proper citation.
- Self-plagiarism, or recycling substantial portions of one’s previously published work without acknowledgment.
- Paraphrasing another work excessively without proper attribution.
2. Plagiarism Detection
All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using reputable plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with significant similarity to previously published works may be rejected outright or returned to the authors for revision.
3. Policy on Plagiarism
- Minor Plagiarism: If minor similarities are detected, authors will be requested to revise their manuscripts and properly attribute the sources.
- Major Plagiarism: If extensive plagiarism is identified, the manuscript will be rejected, and the authors may be barred from submitting to the journal in the future.
- Published Plagiarism: If plagiarism is discovered post-publication, the article will be retracted, and a notification of retraction will be published on the journal’s website.
4. Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their submissions. They must ensure that all cited works are properly acknowledged and that the manuscript is free from any form of plagiarism.
By adhering to this policy, the Journal of Inspira aims to maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of its published content.
